Nothing New Under the Sun

A number of early motion picture shorts from the Library of Congress are now on YouTube. Clearly people have been into lol cat-type humor for nearly 100 years.

Results In!

Poll Daddy has a nice feature for showing poll results to me when I am logged in, but there's no mechanism to share the chart. I had to export to Excel, make a chart, and save it as an image.

Anyway. The question was "Which patron tale of woe is hardest to smile politely through?" and those are the results.

Booksfree: in the Netflix model, pay a monthly fee and have books shipped to your door. On the one hand, public libraries are free; on the other hand, Americans do hate to leave the house for services.
